Abstract

With the rapid development of technology, the way students learn is enriched. Education with the help of new technologies can be provided from distance, without physical presence in a classroom, to any participant that has only a computer and an internet connection. The learning path that the students follow is marked by the choices and decisions that they make. These decisions are recorded in the form of data on an appropriate basis.
By using both access to data and available teaching and learning analytics for data processing and analysis, can provide useful information to outline the participants’ educational profile. Then, exploiting the full potential of the moodle platform in combination with the above data can lead to the creation of an adaptive e-learning system so that each learner’s path of learning leads to the achievement of personal and learning goals..
