Abstract
This thesis investigates educational methodologies for the dissemination to the secondary education of the scientific research and the experimental techniques in the field of particle and astroparticle physics. This includes the development of educational activities for the construction, testing and operation of the Cosmic Ray Telescope installed at the Hellenic Open University Campus, as well as the development of technological applications and remote laboratory exercises. The technological applications and the educational methodologies will be evaluated by lyceum students and teachers in the area of Western Greece.
